Notes[edit]

Do we need the 2006 election results on the page anymore? Is it really all that interesting? What do y'all think about removing the stub status of this article? The photo in this article is pixelated - can someone fix that? Finally, the "Medical College of Wisconsin.[1]" citation link doesn't seem to work. Can someone fix this?

Yes, the election results should stay. Whether something is interesting or not isn't a litmus test for inclusion in Wikipedia. I'll fix the other things. 1ne 06:57, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I can agree on that somewhat. However, you have to admit that there will likely be a time when the results become hopelessly outdated. I will concede that that time is not now. --Hypertext (talk) 09:19, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There's a much better photo on Kagen's website [1]. Unfortunately I'm not sure what to do in order to get it on wikipedia, so if someone else wants to do it... --Kick the cat 16:38, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is a picky point. I'm from Appleton and knew Rep. Kagen in high school. I'm pretty sure he graduated from Appleton Senior High School, which, after East was built, became Appleton West. I don't think East existed when Rep. Kagen graduated (which would have been in 1967). It's no big deal, but after all, the site is supposed to be accurate.DocRay 13:30, 17 June 2007 (UTC) I just looked at the link to Appleton East High School and it says that East was established in 1967. OK, OK, I was off to college by then, so I could be wrong. The only way to settle this is to hear from another 1967 AHS-E grad. If I'm wrong, sorry for the fuss.DocRay 13:35, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He also went on to sue 80 of his own patients.[edit]

There was a line in this article that said "He also went on to sue 80 of his own patients.". A search for "steve kagen sue patients" brings up this article that says "NRCC ads say Dr. Kagen “took legal action against eighty former patients.” Misleading. (their emphasis) It's true that Kagen hired a collection agency that took a total of 80 patients to small claims court for arbitration of unpaid bills, but that was over the course of a 25-year career in which Kagen estimates he has seen 50,000 patients. Kagen says the agency deemed them all able to pay." If this information is pertinent to the article, I welcome someone to re-add it but to do so in a NPOV way.VarunRajendran (talk) 08:39, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
