[edit]in keeping with the episode, Barney is referred to as Swarley throughout this episode page. DO NOT CHANGE SWARLEY TO BARNEY! Eldude611 01:33, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
On the DVD commentary track, the show's creators said that the opening scene's reference to hanging out in a bar being more fun than hanging out in a coffee shop was NOT a Friends dis. They needed the show to start in a coffee shop and that was the dialogue they came up with. Later, people pointed out that it could be taken as a reference to Friends. 71.62.226.167 (talk) 04:06, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:How i met your mother Swarley.jpg
[edit]Image:How i met your mother Swarley.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

[edit]JERK NAILS. As mentioned in the show by Robin (as a kind of equivalent for the crazy eyes) could be a reference to Barney since he is known for having a thing for manicure and he is considered to be a jerk —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.119.5.237 (talk) 10:01, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
Barney's blog
[edit]Don't have time to fix the article, looks like many standard sections are missing (possibly due to over zealous misinterpretation WP:TRIVIA as an excuse to delete instead of clean up or improve). If you have time you may be able to recover them from the article history. Adding Barney's blog about Swarley and will try to fix up article properly later. -- Horkana (talk) 16:19, 29 May 2010 (UTC)
