Per WP:PROF#Criteria, Teodolinda Barolini is notable under at least the following criteria:
2. The person has received a highly prestigious academic award or honor at a national or international level. – she received a Guggenheim Fellowship per [1]
3. The person is or has been an elected member of a highly selective and prestigious scholarly society or association (e.g., a National Academy of Sciences or the Royal Society) or a fellow of a major scholarly society for which that is a highly selective honor (e.g., the IEEE). – to quote [2], "She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the American Philosophical Society, and the Medieval Academy of America. In 2015 she was elected Accademica Olimpica Corrispondente of the Accademia Olimpica in Vicenza."
5. The person holds or has held a named chair appointment or distinguished professor appointment at a major institution of higher education and research (or an equivalent position in countries where named chairs are uncommon). – per [3], she has a named chair at Columbia University (Lorenzo Da Ponte Professor of Italian), and Columbia University is undoubtedly a "major institution of higher education and research"
I believe that [4] is a reliable source since it is a profile published by her employer (a major university), not purely her personal work, so obviously has been reviewed by them. Given all of this, this page in its current state does not meet the criteria for deletion as CSD A7. (Consider this a pre-emptive strike.) SJK (talk) 00:29, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
