Big Stoop[edit]

Yes, I certainly think that the Big Stoop article should be merged here. Some day when I have a lot of time, I would like to add a list of characters to this article.

And, by the way, I'm not at all sure that Big Stoop was a caricature of the Yellow Kid. The only Google references to this are from Wikipedia. BayBoy 02:57, 12 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Dragonlady.jpg[edit]

The image Image:Dragonlady.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. – The comic strip is the primary topic for this title: its pageviews have consistently superseded those of any of its adaptations, barring a brief surge for Terry and the Pirates (serial) in 2020. (See comment below for a direct link to the stats.) The comic strip has also had a lasting reputation as one of the greats in the adventure comic strip genre (the Library of American Comics describes it as "the greatest comic strip of all time", and several of Caniff's original strips are held in the Library of Congress), while the adaptations do not appear to have comparable long-term significance.
