Common Name

[edit]

What is the common name of this rivalry? I'm not that connected to Texas soccer culture so I'm a little unsure where to best find this answer. It feels too ambiguous having both names. Is one more of an occasional nickname rather than the typical name? --Blackbox77 (talk) 00:58, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Google searches of each name yield significantly more hits for Texas Derby than El Capitan Classico. I'd assume this is similar to how the Galaxy-Quakes rivalry is called the California Classico even though a writer on occasion gives it the nickname the Interstate 5 Rivalry. Anyone mind if the article exclusively refers to it as the Texas Derby? --Blackbox77 (talk) 23:38, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

El Capitán image

[edit]

Does anyone have a picture of El Capitán? I think an image of the cannon would really raise the value of this article. --Blackbox77 (talk) 18:04, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Texas DerbyTexas derby – Articles throughout Wikipedia are stylized in a way where "derby" and "rivalry" are lowercase (i.e. Manchester derby, M69 derby, Cavalry FC–Forge FC rivalry. Changing the name to have "derby" lowercase would match that formatting. Rylesbourne (talk) 17:42, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
