I'll review this article shortly. Wizardman 04:58, 3 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Here are the issues I found:

  • Half the article of the library is on the founder rather than the library itself. While the founder deserves a mention, it is rather odd.
  • It feels like there are some parts missing to this article. It's not easy to put my finger on what, but that main thing is that I'd like to see a bit more detail on what the library has. You note the 16,000 books and end it there without much detail (which is unsourced anyway)
  • Some parts of the article are written a bit non-encyclopedically (i.e. "Despite its modest resources,"). It's not really bad in and of itself, but see the point below.
  • The main issue I have with the article is the sourcing. Most of the sources used are primary (either the library's site or newsletter). There are also a few places where the tone is a concern, and the lack of secondary sourcing is what ends up making that more of an issue than it would be otherwise.

Due to that last point, I feel this article would need a good deal of restructuring, and as is I'm going to have to fail the article. Wizardman 02:25, 4 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Buddhist Library (Singapore)Buddhist Library – There is only one 'Buddhist Library' on the wiki which makes it a precise enough title to warrant a move back to the original title. However, the page move is blocked because a previous article was created there. Looking at the history of the pages, Buddhist Library (Singapore) was created before Buddhist Library, but somehow most of the content in the 'Buddhist Library' ended up duplicating content in 'Buddhist Library (Singapore)', so I merged the contents into the page with the older page history.

It seems like almost all of the wikilinking is done with 'Buddhist Library' instead of 'Buddhist Library (Singapore)' so this also justifies the move. -- AquaDTRS (talk) 18:36, 8 September 2018 (UTC) --Relisting.
