"Continuity" addition[edit]

The following text would be a positive contribution to this page's subject on "continuity"; the proposed change for the last sentence in the continuity section could be read as follows:

When the Doctor awakens, he quotes himself from previous regeneration stories: "Sontarans perverting the course of human history" (the Fourth Doctor in Robot), "I don't want to go!" (the Tenth Doctor in The End of Time), "When the Doctor was me..." (the Eleventh Doctor in "The Time of the Doctor"), and "No, no, no, no... no!” (the Second Doctor in The War Games).[3]

Saying a bunch of "No"s wouldn't really contribute much, he's said that word thousands of times through the series. Connecting it to a regeneration is just one occurrence and has little importance. -- Alex^TW 04:14, 3 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

And besides which, supporters of Season 6B out there would dispute that the Doctor actually regenerated at that point, so "No no no" are no more pre-regenerative last words than "Carrot juice, carrot juice ..." are.62.190.148.115 (talk) 08:46, 19 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Who exactly decides what should or shouldn't be allowed to stand as an edit? I put in something that's been deleted, and searching back for it I find a lot of things that anyone watching the episode knows happened, but are deleted as inadequately cited. How do you cite an episode other than by referencing the episode? Who decides what's interesting and what isn't?
