porn

[edit]

The episode has been used to begin a porn video. Is that notable? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.28.164.232 (talk) 09:12, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Couch Gag

[edit]

The couch gag for this episode seemed like a very long one to me, probably not the longest, but it could be in the top five. If so, I think it would be worth saying, but I don't know where to put it. If anyone knows the exact length of the episode, or where the information could be mentioned, that would be great. 207.58.230.130 12:14, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I added it, but it could use more detail. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.236.165.20 (talk) 22:46, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The episode can be rewatched online here if anyone cares to add more detail: http://www.watchtvsitcoms.com/simpsons.php - Throw 13:36, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Homage to Pavaroti?

[edit]

WE took this episode to be a homage to Pavaroti. Whenever he was on stage in his later career he needed supports and the elephants towing Homer made reference to his weight. Trappist99 (talk) 14:13, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Who is this we? And I think it is pure coincidence, because after all, they made jokes about Homer's weight before this episode. -- Scorpion0422 16:23, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wink to "The Graduate"

[edit]

One can see this hint to "The Graduate" when Julia let her clothes fall and says that she is availible for him. Yeah, I havent got any sources, i watched the film "The Graduate" and this episode of the simpsons and the camerawork seems to be quite identical. Could someone who speaks english (yeah, I'm from germany...) add it to the article? --84.190.42.92 (talk) 20:09, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
