Untitled[edit]

I was amazed that there wasn't a page on the Mynah Birds yet, considering the cast of characters. This is not my area of expertise, so it's fairly stubtastic at this point, but the page clearly needs to exist. I see that it was deleted once, but on copyright violation grounds, not on the merits of the subject. For all its faults, the current page is certainly not a copyright violation, as I was working mostly from memory, checking dates on few websites. No sources are cited yet.

Café[edit]

I can;t for sure make the connection between this group and the Yorkville coffee house with the same name that existed at about the same time. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=282027891867202&set=a.256045541132104.59461.256041347799190&type=1&theater Eclecticology (talk) 06:12, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Mynah Bird was another effort by Colin Kerr, publicity hound, mynah salesman and original manager of the Mynah Birds. It may have been a little more successful than the band, probably due to the scantily-clad "go-go girls" employed there. -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlUtRjJlO3Q --Ampwright (talk) 17:09, 12 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

James Johnson[edit]

The end of the story of Ricky James Johnson Matthews' arrival, at least, is baloney. The newcomer attached himself to the group being formed by Klaus/Nick Kassbaum and John Goadsby, who then adopted the name "Sailor Boys" after the USN gob hat James/Ricky still sported. --Ampwright (talk) 03:59, 9 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Contradicting Arrest story[edit]

This page and Rick James page claim that he was arrested for AWOL because it appeared his ex-manager turned him in, (though the Rick James page says he turned himself in after it was revealed). However the Neil Merryweather page claims he was picked up for theft and was discovered. Anyone have better info? [[98.115.221.106 (talk) 08:17, 9 July 2018 (UTC)]][reply]
