I find it interesting and amusing that the author's name incorporates references, or at least allusions, to three of the major elements in the novel: Queen Mary, her successor Queen Elizabeth, and religion (although Christianity itself is much less significant in the book then the "fairy folk"'s pagan religion). --Thnidu (talk) 04:49, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

As a Perilous Gard fan (my friend showed me the book two years ago, and I was hooked), I just want to say thank you for contributing to this page! I didn't think this stellar book would be found in Wikipedia, much less have an entry! EmTef (talk) 18:46, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
