John Wilkins
[edit]Your link to John Wilkins is not accurate as it links to the 17th century founder of the Royal Society and not to the recently retired editor of the English Tablet journal!
Readership citation
[edit]Apparently, some sort of freeze has been put on editing this article due to recent vandalism. I do have a reference for the readership statistics, but I can't edit the article at this point. The Tablet's weekly readership is 23,500, and its estimated readership is 65,000. My source is this article: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/media/catholic-weekly-the-tablet-relaunches-470583.html
If somebody has the authority to sidestep the editing freeze and give the readership numbers a citation, that would be great! KelseighB (talk) 03:02, 2 March 2009 (UTC)
The Bitter Pill
[edit]This nickname is out of place in the lead. Bear in mind that however wrong-headed it may have become, the Tablet goes back to 1840 and has a long and to some extent honourable history. The wikipedia article is no place for registering your disgust with its current editorial stances. --Paularblaster (talk) 09:27, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on The Tablet. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20060409080542/http://news.independent.co.uk:80/media/article352295.ece to http://news.independent.co.uk/media/article352295.ece
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
