Mafia theme

[edit]

Does anyone know what the song is called that runs while the mafia is terrorizing all the snack shops? - Strahlehans 16:49, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mindy cameo

[edit]

Mindy from "The Last Temptation of Homer" makes a cameo in this episode. Worth a mention?

No, because it would be trivia, sorry. Also it would be unsourced and original research, because while it looks like Mindy, there's no proof it is. Gran2 16:35, 4 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Japanese Maffia

[edit]

Isn't it a parody of the turtles series? I might be wrong because I find no other fan site mentioning it.

As pro-argument the team setups are very alike, 3/5 of the Japanese Maffia has the same weapons as the turtle characters. And the Springfield Maffia has the big guy 'shredder'/'fat tony' and like the turtles series there is two sideshows (bebop and rocksteady are their names in the turtle series).

Since I'm uncertain myself I just thought to present the idea and let an expert decide whether if there is any cultural reference. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.114.22.37 (talk) 16:29, 2 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The episode has just been repeated on UK television and I noticed that the word Yakuza has been edited out of the episode 77.86.72.75 (talk) 19:28, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
