"He accompanied Henry VI for his French coronation in 1436" -- who's "he"? We speak of two Thomas' and a William.
"He took part, under the earl of Northumberland, in the October 1449 border border war..." -- border border? Typo?
"...which culminated in the Battle of Sark and the capture- stuck in 'mire ground'- not only of Harrington himself, but also Northumberland's son and heir, the Lord Poynings." -- a little incoherent which could probably be worded more suitable.
