Noting that sources are mixed, and although, per an edit summary, "the version that appears in the History of the Irish Rugby Football Union, and in his census return of 1911" perhaps spell his name "MacCarthy", I'm keeping the current spelling per http://www.sportsfile.com/id/387858/. There should be a discussion before changing the name, as this could require some judgement and there may not be a definitive correct name. See WP:Requested moves if you want to propose a change to "MacCarthy". wbm1058 (talk) 19:11, 13 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
