The result of the move request was moved. Clear consensus here to revert the prior move. Aervanath (talk) 07:43, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
Support move - seems the primary usage of Thomas. And the author appears to be primary usage of Tom. Dab page sorts out the others. But if this Thomas cannot be moved back to being the primary usage, I would move to "Thomas Stevenson (engineer)". "Designer" sounds like fashion, not lighthouses! Support - agree with both of PamD's comments. I feel sure that he would not have been called a designer in his lifetime.--JBellis (talk) 11:35, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
Support both, revert to primary topic, and if not, the article be renamed "(engineer)". MURGHdisc. 12:38, 25 January 2009 (UTC)
SupportThomas Stevenson v. Tom Stevenson is differentiation enough for us; not even his son called this subject Tom. We can consider the now-defeated member of the Pennsylvania legislature if he becomes more notable than he is. SeptentrionalisPMAnderson 04:42, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
