Wanker
[edit]Is this real or I Wander if this is a joke?—SquidHomme (talk) 22:14, 2 July 2016 (UTC)
- It seems to be his original Austrian name; the German pronounciation is "Vunker". --Hob Gadling (talk) 06:56, 20 February 2019 (UTC)

Thomas Wanker → Thomas Wander – Thomas Wander is the international name of Thomas Wanker. Name change for English speaking people, for obvious reasons. Name is consistently used since ca. 2009 in his best known work E-Kartoffel (talk) 19:10, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
- Support modern English sources overwhelmingly following the BLP's chosen WP:COMMONNAME. WP:FULLNAME only applies to lead (and wonder why we have no middle name in lead?) In ictu oculi (talk) 09:43, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
- Support Wander has been his professional name for years,[1] and is the one used on all recent film credits and on his own website. (Maybe he has no middle name?): Noyster (talk), 11:35, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
- Support per In ictu oculi and Noyster. The main title header is "Thomas Wander" in his native-language German Wikipedia as well as in Russian Wikipedia, but remains, perhaps influenced by English Wikipedia, as "Thomas Wanker" in French, Korean, Italian, Dutch, Japanese and Turkish Wikipedias. —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 10:30, 12 January 2017 (UTC)
