Apparently there are two reasons why New Zealanders don't eat barracouta, the extreme boniness and the presence of nematode parasites;

Never seen canned snoek in South Africa

I've asked many acquaintances, including people over 80 years old, none have ever seen or heard of canned snoek in SA. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 06:22, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
