[edit]Best of luck to Tina in politics. Always loved watching her on North of 60. That was one of the best shows on TV. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 142.163.91.146 (talk • contribs) 15:17, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
Current day Joe Keeper
[edit]In researching my article on Joe Keeper, Tina's grandfather, I ran across mentions of a modern day Joe Keeper, as being a person who has been interviewed frequently on Cree topics. I imagine this is the son of her grandfather, but I don't have any proof of that. Any information as to whether he's Tina's father or uncle? There's also a ferry, M.V. Joe Keeper, and I wanted to add that to the Joe Keeper article, but there was nothing to prove whom it was named for. Does anybody have input to that? Corvus cornixtalk 18:08, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
My name is Ed Leggitt, and I had the priviledge of working with Tina's Grand Father Joe Keeper Senior, in Rossville Manitoba when I was there with the Hudson's Bay Company ( 1955 & 1956) as a store clerk in my early 20's. I was there for two years and spent many enjoyable times with this family, Joe Keeper Juniour, his sister Elsie I beleive was her name, a very lovely educated girl. Also had a few meals at their home on their Island; there mother was a very gracious host. Joe Seniour worked for the Hudson's Bay Company and was highly repected by all. We organized, and had many sporting events both summer and winter and Joe Seniour was always in charge of organizing these. I also remember seeing his many accomplishment in the Olympics as well as in the armed services etc. etc. I am now retired (73) and living in Winnipeg, in Elmwood. It is nice to see that Joe has been honoured by being installed into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame finally. My e-mail is edleggitt@shaw.ca it would be nice to hear back from the Keeper family.

Revisions and removed information
[edit]The article was written as if it was for a fan site, and also included material that honestly looked like it was cut-and-pasted from a promotional brochure. I have cleaned it up as best I can but it probably needs some updating. I deleted a paragraph listing in detail present and upcoming productions by Kistikan Productions because that material read like ad copy and is more appropriate for an article on Kistikan Productions, rather than a biographical article about someone whose notability is based upon other work (in Keeper's case, acting and serving as an MP). The article is also missing some key personal information. For example, was she not married or otherwise involved with her co-star on North of 60? I remember seeing some headlines about that. 68.146.52.234 (talk) 20:34, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
