Age
[edit]The "age as of date" template is used in the infobox, based on "SpinSpotter lets readers keep a lookout for spin" November 17, 2008:
- What: SpinSpotter, Seattle
- Who: Todd Herman, 41, founder and chief creative officer--Artaxerxes (talk) 12:27, 24 July 2020 (UTC)
- Artaxerxes, I would cite that in the infobox as any other editor might see an unsourced year-of-birth claim and remove it as unsourced, unlikely to check Talk page for that verification. Schazjmd (talk) 15:17, 24 July 2020 (UTC)
Views/Controversy
[edit]Removed from article (without explanation):
- Herman has expressed support for the "FairTax," a proposal to abolish income and payroll taxes and replace them with a flat sales tax.[1]
- In 2010, Herman posted a personal tweet suggesting that President Barack Obama was a Muslim; the RNC distanced itself from Herman's tweet.[2]
- In January 2021, while a guest host on Limbaugh's show, Herman suggested that the storming of the Capitol by a pro-Trump mob might have been "Antifa" or "BLM." The disinformation circulated widely among Trump supporters. Subsequently, in late February 2021, Herman acknowledged that "it was clear a large group of Trump supporters entered the Capitol and assaulted people" but continued to make the claim that Antifa activists had concocted a plan to impersonate Trump supporters.[3]Artaxerxes (talk) 12:57, 13 March 2021 (UTC)
