I have tried improving this article by adding some of the statistics that were present in the corresponding article on the Polish Wikipedia, but am still not sure how notable the subject is - he fails WP:NOLYMPICS and the primary argument I can see for him meeting WP:GNG is significant coverage in Polish-language news sources due to his daughter, Iga Świątek, who is a successful tennis player. If anyone stumbles upon this and is able to chime in as to any other improvements that could be done, or whether it'd be best for this to be turned into a WP:BLAR (or even WP:AFD), it would be good. Hi. Thanks for taking time to look into the article. He should pass the basic notability for sportspeople with their gold medal at the Universiade. I've looked for more sources on him, but the results are skeewed to be about his daughter, and I don't speak/read Polish. Maybe someone at WP:POLAND would be able to find more on him. There were quite a few sources on Iga's article about Tomasz which have been used here, some were in Polish but you could get some basic understanding of his notability through Google Translate.
@Schwede66: In response to your edit summary I placed the update tag as I was unsure if there was any more information of other achievements since the three sub-sections that have been added. Looking at the Polish state honour Tomasz got I'm not sure if he did any more for Polish sport or it was an acknowledgment of Iga's success. I think notability has been met now.
