Dear Boleyn,
I hope you are keeping well? I'd welcome your advice about the subtleties of disambiguation, please? Here goes:

  • Usher's Island is the name of one of the quays in Dublin, and if our readers search on this name, they currently get redirected to the article on Dublin quays.
  • We also have a disambiguation page, which shows that there is an Irish folk group called 'Usher's Island', for which I'd like to draft a new article. The question is: do I create an article with the title: Usher's Island (band), even though there isn't a specific article for the quay, which would clearly have been the primary topic? Or, do I name the group's article simply Usher's Island (without "(band)"), again: because there isn't a specific article for the quay itself? However, I can't imagine the folk group ever becoming the primary topic, so I'm inclined to disambiguate the article as: Usher's Island (band).
  • The same folk group have released their eponymous first album, for which I also intend to draft a separate article, with the title of Usher's Island (album). Since all the group's members are notable, I expect this album to be widely reviewed by the music press in Ireland and Britain, hence the justification for a separate article for this (and future) albums.
  • Once I have created the articles in main space for the group and the album, I will also update the dab page accordingly.

Many thanks for your helpful guidance, as always.
With kind regards;

Hi, Pdebee, nice to hear from you. I think a dab at Usher's Island (the primary page) looks like the best option. Best wishes, Boleyn (talk) 08:51, 28 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Boleyn,
I didn't mean for you to do all the work, but I am most grateful for it just the same, as I wouldn't have known to do what you did so kindly; thank you! I guess this means I'm now headed to the back of the class to re-learn how dab pages are really supposed to work. However, thanks to your helpful assistance, I'll now be able simply to expand the band's stub that you created so generously for me .
Thank you once again for all your wonderful help, Boleyn.
With kindest regards;
