Missing book?

[edit]

We list "Crime in the Skin (2006)" in her other works but I can't find evidence that it exists. There was a book around then called "Cleanskin". Might this be what is meant? Is this its title elsewhere, or something? DBaK (talk) 12:19, 9 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Note: It was contributed on Christmas Day 2012 by a single-visit IP address - I want to AGF but I do wonder if it's a typo, or if they'd had too many pre-lunch sherries ... DBaK (talk) 12:24, 9 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Val McDermid on Have I Got News For You Said...

[edit]

Her wikipedia page is full of rubbish. So, work needs to be done about this imo. 78.147.47.240 (talk) 20:51, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Really? She didn't specify what's true and what's not - how would you like to approach this? DBaK (talk) 21:29, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

The link to "crime writer" in the first sentence looks like it was intended to go somewhere else. It is redirecting to a non-fiction topic now. 114.76.17.94 (talk) 10:32, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, 114.76.17.94 – very true! I have relinked it to Crime fiction, which makes better sense. Whether the eventual destination of the current redirect crime writer is a good idea or not is a different question, but doesn't really affect this! Best wishes DBaK (talk) 19:07, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

New Novel

[edit]

Title: 1979. Published last week, said to be the first in a new series. Anyone on a Proper Computer feel like adding it? Mr Larrington (talk) 19:38, 23 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Member of Scotland team on Round Britain Quiz

[edit]

Given her appearance on Eggheads has already been cited here, worth expanding on her quizzing credentials through her regular appearances for Scotland on BBC Radio 4's Round Britain Quiz [1]. Culloty82 (talk) 16:13, 18 September 2022 (UTC) Culloty82 (talk) 16:13, 18 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
