edit request perfidy section add mention of use of civilian and hamas/pij uniforms and civilian vehicles by israel

In the perfidy section, add "In a June 8th raid by israeli forces on Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza israeli forces used disguises including those of civilians and militants, such as Hamas or PIJ as well as disguised civilian vehicles in a raid that killed more than 270 Gazans and wounding 698, mostly civilians. The raid used the area around the humanitarian aid pier as part of the raid. Following the raid, and the injury of an aid worker at the site, humanitarian aid operations at the pier were stopped pending the outcome of a UN security assessment of aid worker safety. "see also" link to Bearing Witness (2023 film)?

Is there a consensus on linking Bearing Witness (2023 film)? That could be relevant if described in the text somewhere and linked there, but it doesn't seem relevant enough to be there in "see also" for "Massacres"?

It was paired with genocidal massacre, and together they seem like an implied opinion (a POV or synth problem) rather than a link to closely related information?

I replaced genocidal massacre with Allegations of genocide in the 2023 Hamas-led attack on Israel because that page is much more relevant, but I don't know what to do with the movie link?

Perfidy

Here after the inevitable revert. The first section of perfidy in the israeli section doesn't belong there. Only one source alludes to classifying this as a warcrime in the perfidy sense (for being disguised as civilians). Every other link is talking about either alleged 'extra-judicial' killings or the potential crime of attacking a hospital as a protected space. However, these 2 potential crimes don't fall under perfidy, so this whole section has to be moved. Pinging @Selfstudier. Your classification of my summary as misleading, is misleading. It's even worse, I checked one random statement and it wasn't supported by the source. The article says The International Committee of the Red Cross expressed concern that the raid was a violation of international humanitarian law while the source only said that

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)... has expressed concern over the raid. "Under international humanitarian law, hospitals and medical patients should be respected and protected at all times", the ICRC said, adding that it would raise the issue "as part of its confidential dialogue with the concerned authorities".

In the Hamas crimes section there is at one point a line that reads, 'on the counter side, the IDF [has also been accused of bad things]. There is a separate section on the alleged Israeli crimes, this sentence doesn't belong here and adds no info on the Hamas crimes. JoeJShmo^💌 11:03, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
