The problem in part is that the infobox in the Washington Bee had a missing parameter. It is missing "logo". Compare New York Times. I was about to try to fix it myself when you got to it. 7&6=thirteen () 12:06, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Another Bee

[edit]

Bigturtle I just completed Newspapers founded in Washington, D.C. during the 18th- and 19th-centuries

I came across another Bee newspaper. Does anyone know if there is a relation of the newspaper in this article to either of these newspapers:

  • The Washington Bee, "Washington Bee". Library of Congress. Retrieved February 27, 2020., OCLC 8795165
  • The Weekly Bee and Model Advertiser, "The Weekly Bee & Model Advertiser". Library of Congress. Retrieved February 27, 2020., OCLC 8795082

Based on the 1856 date of the earlier “Bee” publications, no direct connection between the two is likely. Future editor Chase may have come across the publications and name as a very young child, but this is unverifiable speculation. Thanks for your hard work on this project.
