Assessed
[edit]- I have assessed this article as Start class for the following reasons:
- Needs to have more sources cited (especially in Controversy section)
- Needs to be checked for neutrality

Edit Request
[edit]"Wendy Williams has been accused of transphobia. In one episode of her show, after stating that trans woman can never be assigned women, she told her audience, "Stop wearing our skirts and our heels!"
I just clicked the links cited and this isn't what was said...?
Fat joe and Remy ma
[edit]Today Fat JOE and Remy Ma quoted Halle Berry As saying she was the only black woman to Receive an Oscar, that is not true. 1939 Hattie McDaniel won for best supporting role in Gone with the wind. Correct me if I’m wrong 2603:7000:7A42:6F00:794D:15A6:232B:6E52 (talk) 15:16, 8 February 2022 (UTC)
Who is the father of her son?
[edit]The article states she filed for divorce in April of 2019. Her son was born in August 2020. So…..???? 2600:8800:5C0A:3700:D0EC:6ADC:226E:FCB8 (talk) 04:48, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
- Read it again, her son was born in 2000 not 2020 2607:FEA8:5199:C800:C872:C6C2:D713:817C (talk) 01:55, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
Separating personal life and career
[edit]Would anyone object to it if I created a separate section for her personal life? I'm personally generally against combining those sections in a biography because people are often only interested in learning about one or the other. However, separating it out of the article won't be an easy task, so I don't want to do all of that work just to get reverted. JDDJS (talk to me • see what I've done) 16:18, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
- You can't separate her personal life from her professional life. People need to know one to understand the other. Discussing personal life after career will introduce timing confusion. While for some people they can be separate, they are very much connected for Wendy Williams. Heartfox (talk) 22:37, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
- Can you please elaborate on why you feel that way? I don't see how having a child or getting married had any impact on her career. Her health issues are what caused her career to end, but I don't see why we can't just mention her health issues ending her career and then provide a link to the personal life section where we go into detail describing her health issues. You certainly don't need to know about her career to understand her health issues. JDDJS (talk to me • see what I've done) 23:07, 2 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Heartfox Can I please get an elaboration of your opinion? JDDJS (talk to me • see what I've done) 21:30, 8 March 2024 (UTC)
- I am for separating it as I agree it is hard to read combined. Furthermore, it looks a recent edit was reverted due to their inability to find the information cited below. Most pages on here are separated, especially when lengthy as is this one. Wendy’s personal life for the majority is separated from her career, like her birth, childhood and childhood struggles, teen years, marriages, her child, miscarriages, etc.
- I don’t think her career also ended as she was co-producer of a documentary that was released this year, in 2024. Goldduxxt (talk) 19:45, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
