More work needed[edit]

This page makes a lot of claims about Johnson's state of mind and motives. I tried to clean some of this up but it needs more work. It also provides a lot of information without sources or from low-quality sources. More work is needed on this page to assure an objective tone and accurate account of his life and cooperation with the FBI. --Vipersage (talk) 16:32, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Untitled[edit]

Johnson was a key figure in the downfall of John Gotti and deserves a more detailed entry. In particular the story of how he got to be an informant for both the FBI and the Queen's DA squad is interesting - it shows how crime-fighters can end up fighting each other as well as criminals - often at great risk to informants. Clean up[edit]

I have cleaned this article up to bring it in line with Wikipedia:Manual of Style, including:

  • remove repeated links and links to plain English words per WP:CONTEXT
  • reduce length of links to actual article title by eliminating abuse of link piping
  • remove links to date per MOS:SYL
  • removed links to acronyms
  • fixed capitalization of headings per WP:MOS

Needs more cleanup[edit]

This article projects the wrong tone - it reads more like a tabloid story than a Wiki entry. Needs big cleanup Rogermx (talk) 00:41, 10 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Half-Breed?[edit]

I find it odd that somehow, during his adolescence, Wilfred Johnson was referred to by a Cher song that was not yet in existence. If this is something that also happened later in his life, it should probably be sourced, or just removed altogether. Franzfergidon (talk) 15:47, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
