This William Aikman portrait of Kent in the 1720s is not the Aikman portrait of Kent at the National Portrait Gallery (United Kingdom) illustrated here. I wanted to give some information in the caption but am stymied. --Wetman 17:54, 18 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Furniture design.

[edit]

William Kent designed many pieces of furniture for the Kings Apartments at Kensington Palace, including chandeliers that where constructed by Gumley and Moore for the Cupola and Kings Drawing Rooms's, side tables for the Cupola Room, fireplaces in Carrera Marble and interestingly picture frames which are unique in design to him. Hope this helps. Chris.pawley@hrp.org.uk — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.54.59.53 (talk) 21:32, 29 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
