Guernsey and Jersey links are pointing to the men's team despite the tags being correct. Does anyone know how to fix these links? Bs1jac (talk) 13:10, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

it is somewhere in the flag data, I've looked into this sort of thing, but it is quite confusing to dig into. I'll have a try and leave a message here if I figure it out. Spike 'em (talk) 15:06, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Problem is in the {{Country data Guernsey}} and {{Country data Jersey}} templates used by the {{cr}} and {{crw}} templates to create the links. Two things need to be done:
  1. The Guernsey men's team is at Guernsey cricket team and not Guernsey national cricket team so the women's team will need to match this for the template to work consistently (so one of the 2 pages will need move or redirect created)
  2. the |link alias-cricket= in the Country data needs to either be removed if both teams are at "national cricket team" or have {{{mw|}}} added if no national in the team articles. Spike 'em (talk) 15:23, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I've made edit requests for both, the necessary redirects already exist. Spike 'em (talk) 15:30, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Should be working now (via a redirect). Spike 'em (talk) 15:53, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
