ZaynZayn (disambiguation) – Zayn Malik obviously is the most notable Zayn[1]. The title "Zayn" should become a redirect to Zayn Malik and the disambiguation page should be moved to the other title. — Zawl 10:49, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose Zayn is ambiguous, there might be a case for a primary redirect to Zayn Malik as Oprah redirects to Oprah Winfrey, but is there any evidence that Zayn (singer) isn't already doing that job? In ictu oculi (talk) 11:23, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose move. Again. We've been over this before - Zayn Malik is not the primary topic for Zayn.  ONR  (talk)  05:01, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

ZaynZayn (disambiguation) – Last discussed in 2017. Today in 2022, it's hard to argue WP:RECENTISM when it comes to Zayn Malik. His notability is well-established, and he has released many successful and award-winning singles and albums under the mononym "Zayn". The current dabpage at Zayn is a list of WP:PTMs (many of which should probably be deleted) as well as a link to Zain (name), which almost never uses the spelling "Zayn". Recommend a move of the dabpage to make the primary redirect. 162 etc. (talk) 19:38, 2 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose move. No proof was provided that Zayn Malik is the long-term primary topic. O.N.R. (talk) 10:03, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose move. No proof was provided that one particular Zayn is a mononynm long-term primary topic. In ictu oculi (talk) 15:06, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment in reply to the above. What else on Wikipedia is named "Zayn"? There's Zayn Malik, and there's Zain (name). While the latter may be argued to have a higher long-term notability, I note that that the spelling difference is important here. As for the pageviews, it's a runaway. Google test will also confirm that Zayn Malik is essentially the only result when searching "Zayn". 162 etc. (talk) 15:46, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per WP:SMALLDETAILS given the distinctive spelling of his name; it seems apparent from both usage data and long-term musical success that Zayn Malik is the primary topic for this specific spelling "Zayn", at least. — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! • Now neutral now that I've actually looked at the page. — Ceso femmuin mbolgaig mbung, mellohi! (投稿) 13:48, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. No primary topic here. Very obviously recentism compared to the long-term significance of several of the others. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:29, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
