[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified one external link on Zina Yazji. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Added archive http://web.archive.org/web/20110324201953/http://www.al-jazirah.com.sa:80/magazine/18052004/fadaiat33.htm to http://www.al-jazirah.com.sa/magazine/18052004/fadaiat33.htm

Protect the article
[edit]@Verbcatcher: if you are an admin, pls, use pending changes protection to avoid any kind of vandalism, as what happened to the birth year even before your last edits ! 175.126.202.201 (talk) 22:31, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you for correcting the date, I tried to check it in the source but I got it wrong (I don't understand Arabic). I am not an admin. To request page protection you can post a request at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection, however the level of questionable edits here is probably too low for page protection. I recommend that you create an account, among other benefits this allows you to use a watchlist to monitor changes to any pages, see Wikipedia:Why create an account? Verbcatcher (talk) 22:47, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
- @Verbcatcher: Would you please ask for the page protection, as it is always a target for vandalism! 211.204.206.188 (talk) 13:05, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
- Vandalism is annoying, but I still think that the vandalism here has not reached the level that warrants page protection. Other non-protected articles are vandalised a lot more frequently. Verbcatcher (talk) 15:10, 1 May 2020 (UTC)

Date of birth
[edit]An ip editor has repeatedly changed the date of birth from 1975 to 1970. This conflicts with our cited source, for which I have just added an archived URL. This source says:
which Google Translate from Arabic gives as:
- She was also awarded the title of the best Arab journalist by "MC" International in 2013, Zeina was born in 1975 in Syria and educated there until she graduated from Tishreen University in Lattakia, where she obtained a BA in English Literature.
It is possible that the source is inaccurate. It appears to be controlled by Zeina Yazigi and it is not unknown for women in the media to misrepresent their age. But it is also not unknown for their rivals to cast doubt on their true age. We should not add a different date of birth without citing a reliable source. If the current source is assessed as unreliable then we should delete the date of birth. I will revert the date of birth again. Verbcatcher (talk) 13:32, 10 February 2021 (UTC)
