Tammy Pescatelli (born Tammy Gillespie) is an American stand-up comedian. Her most recent comedy special, Finding the Funny, was released recently in an exclusive deal with Netflix. That same special was selected "New and Noteworthy" by iTunes editors and also hit number 3 on the charts.[2]

In 2010, Pescatelli won Comedy Central's Standup Showdown. In 2004, she was a finalist on the second and third seasons of Last Comic Standing. She has performed on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The View (U.S. TV series), Joy Behar: Say Anything!, Stand-up In Stilettos, The Talk, Rocco's Dinner Party, Comedy Central Presents, The World Stands Up, The Bonnie Hunt Show, Last Call with Carson Daly, Dennis Miller and many others.[3] She has also been a guest a number of times on the syndicated show “Comics Unleashed”, and was chosen for their “Best of the Best“ worldwide top selling DVD. Being one of the Final Five on NBC‘s “Last Comic Standing" catapulted Tammy‘s career and won her a slew of new fans, solidifying her as one of the sharpest women in the comedy world.[2]

Pescatelli co-created, executive produced, wrote and starred in a reality television show on WE tv, called A Standup Mother (2011), related to Pescatelli's life as a mother, wife, and comedian.[4]

Pescatelli is a regular guest on The Bob & Tom Show in Indianapolis, and is a fixture on the comedy channels of Sirius XM Radio. On January 22, 2010, she was a guest on Opie and Anthony, an XM Satellite Radio talk show. She also appeared as a guest on Ron & Fez on SiriusXM.

In 2014, she was chosen by Jenny McCarthy to be part of her “Dirty,Sexy,Funny” comedy special on EPIX and is now touring alongside Lynne Koplitz, Paula Bel and April Macie on the "Dirty, Sexy, Funny" comedy tour. Pescatelli has also been a regular co-host on Jenny McCarthy's SiriusXM radio show, "Dirty, Sexy, Funny." To celebrate the start of the radio show, Pescatelli was invited on to the Howard Stern show along with McCarthy and Koplitz.

She was chosen four years in a row to be included in The New York Post greatest jokes from the past year.[5]

Her film appearances include minor roles in Made in Brooklyn (2007), Single: A Documentary Film (2008), and Everybody Wants to Be Italian (2007).

She has performed regularly for the United Service Organizations.
