Kate Frank
[edit]- ... that when rehired, Kate Frank returned monies collected by the National Education Association during her employment termination, which were then used as a legal defense fund for other teachers?
- ALT1:... that Kate Frank, an Oklahoma teacher, created the first high-rise apartment for retirees in Muskogee, Oklahoma?

- New enough, long enough, within policy. Hook #1 is more interesting than #2, but is right at the edge of the 200 character limit, which I understand is a Bad Thing. If you can shorten it just a bit, would be better. How about "... that Kate Frank started a National Education Association teacher legal defense fund with monies left over from her successful case to be rehired?" That's 150-odd, and IMHO, conveys the same information. Three cheers for the Women in Red! --GRuban (talk) 21:14, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks for the review GRuban the only problem with the ALT is that she didn't start it, NEA did. I am also concerned someone might kick it because I could never find an article about the outcome of the case. We know she was rehired, but whether it ever went to court or was settled, I couldn't verify. What about (184 char):
- ALT3 ... that the National Education Association started a teacher legal defense fund with monies left over from collections for Kate Frank′s case to be rehired by Muskogee schools? SusunW (talk) 21:36, 18 January 2016 (UTC)
