The Boat Race 1993[edit]

Improved to Good Article status by The Rambling Man (talk). Nominated by Matty.007 (talk) at 13:03, 12 July 2014 (UTC).

  • @Matty.007: New enough (to GA) long enough, meets core content policies (COPYVIO, RS, NPOV, etc.). I don't think that laypeople will understand the significance of the hook though. --Jakob (talk) 17:03, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
  • Aiming for misunderstanding with cleaver, a type of knife. Thanks, Matty.007 18:32, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
Right. Part of what makes a good hook is exactly that the reader will go what??? and click. EEng (talk) 23:14, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
