The Dead King and his Three Sons
[edit]- ... that in a story known in the Middle Ages, the sons of a dead king shoot arrows at his corpse? If people can read it: Stechow, Wolfgang, "Shooting at Father's Corpse", The Art Bulletin, vol. 24, no. 3, 1942, pp. 213–225. JSTOR. Example here

- Hi Johnbod, review follows: article created 12 Jauary; article exceeds minimum length; article is well written and cited inline throughout to reliable sources; sources are almost entirely offline so wil AGF that there is no overly close paraphrasing, Earwig is clear; hook is interesting and fact is mentioned in the article, AGF on sources - though a quick search shows the story is backed up widely elsewhere; image is correctly licensed and used in the article, looks OK at small scale; QPQ has been done. Looks good to me - Dumelow (talk) 12:01, 19 January 2019 (UTC)
