- New enough and long enough. Neutral and cites sources in-line. I'm assuming good faith (AGF) on the many references to offline foreign-language sources; no plagiarism detected. The two quotes about the third movement, Rondo, need a little more context--who wrote this about the movement? Same with the final quote: "an art that was more and more master of its means." (see WP:MOSQUOTE; "The source must be named in article text if the quotation is an opinion".) I was able to verify the interesting hook fact with the Hyperion site, but I'm AGF on the cited source. - Please give me a day or two, - I only nominated today to not be late, but haven't really looked at the article. I found a good source which is in German. - Yesterday, I was out all day, today, another person died whose article I updated. I already asked the author about the quotes. - Thanks for looking. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:22, 25 February 2019 (UTC)
- Sorry, no rush! I was a teenage Ravel fan, so I jumped at the chance to review a page about one of his pieces :-). Rachel Helps (BYU) (talk) 22:28, 25 February 2019 (UTC)
- Rachel Helps (BYU), we - or rather: Voceditenore - found a good source. I think for DYK it might be good enoug now, please check, and perhaps I'll go a bit further, as the topic is quite fascinating. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:11, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- ALT1: ... that Maurice Ravel (pictured) wrote texts and music for Trois Chansons, his only composition for choir a cappella, in response to the outbreak of World War I? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:15, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
- I verified both hooks via the Hyperion source. I approve both, and the nomination as a whole. Rachel Helps (BYU) (talk) 17:16, 28 February 2019 (UTC)
