Reminder: the Big Bang theory was constructed by starting from our time and by going backward. The way it goes backward tend to show there is a potential t=0, but in facts the theory falls apart before reaching that supposed time (around t=10^-32). I have never heard any serious cosmologist claim to know what was before that boundary or claim the Universe had a beginning (quite the opposite actually).
