The San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) operates a total of 95 bus routes[1] throughout the urbanized area of San Diego and the rest of the southern half of San Diego County, as of June 2018.[2] The city proper and its various suburbs are served by MTS and its bus routes,[3] while the northern portions of San Diego County are served by the North County Transit District (NCTD) and NCTD's BREEZE bus routes.[3][4]
