A barnstar for you!

The Music Machine
For being a true representive of a great era of music. Thanks for improving multiple pages related to 60s music, especially the garage rock article. TheGracefulSlick (talk) 22:26, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

This is long overdue, continue the amazing work! TheGracefulSlick (talk) 22:28, 28 April 2015

Thank you so much. Your recognition means a lot to me, considering all of the articles that you have created and improved. Garagepunk66 (talk) 20:01, 29 April 2015 (UTC)

Honestly, the short time we have collaborated together has helped me improve on my editing skills significantly, so part of the credit should go to you. Without you and Ghmyrtle, I don't think I would have been able to contribute as much as I hoped I could. TheGracefulSlick (talk) 16:33, 29 April 2015

I should be able to complete my article on Wimple Winch by tomorrow (so excited!) so I should be getting back on track, regarding article creating. I have been so involved in the death of Freddie Gray though, unrelated to music, I realize, that I got a little off task. Hope your plans are going well, I will read any articles you create in the future as they are surely about interesting topics.TheGracefulSlick 01:25, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
The GA barnstar
Excellent work you performed at the Garage rock article which is now assessed as a Good Article. Congratulations! Binksternet (talk) 05:46, 26 November 2015 (UTC)
Oh wow! I'm overjoyed! I would like to say thank you, Binksternet, for taking your time to do the review. I would like to thank all of the many hands that went into building up the article: people such as Ghmyrtle, SabreBD, TheGracefulSlick, and so many others. Garagepunk66 (talk) 06:00, 26 November 2015 (UTC)
Congratulations, man! The garage rock article looks fantastic – and so many footnotes! And it is gratifying to see so many of the articles that I wrote tying to it, and many more bands that I love also listed. I got an Original Barnstar for my article on Mouse and the Traps, and it is rare that I have felt so satisfied. Your work very much deserves its GA rating. All my best. Shocking Blue (talk) 16:15, 28 November 2015 (UTC)
Thanks so much, and congrats to you on your work on the Mouse & the Traps article and so many others! Garagepunk66 (talk) 01:42, 29 November 2015 (UTC)

Congratulations! Henry Flynt and the Insurrections has been given a reprieve! Here's hoping that never happens again!!! MurderByDeletionism"bang!" 23:46, 20 December 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for coming to my defense in a difficult time. I thank you so much for your kind recognition of my efforts. Garagepunk66 (talk) 00:27, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

A Barnstar for you

[edit]

Hi, Garagepunk66. Allow me to award you with the Barnstar for civility & kindness.

I think all wikipedian users should be like you. But someone is aggressive & offensive and makes others stay away from collaborating with Wikipedia. However, that's life!

Thanks again....of course, if you need my help I'll be always ready. Sincerely & grateful, --Alsrigs (talk) 15:21, 7 February 2016 (UTC)

What a surprise--thank you! And, I'd like to pass along a host of compliments to you for all of your fine work here. Garagepunk66 (talk) 17:35, 7 February 2016 (UTC)

Music barnstar

[edit]
The Music Barnstar
For your recent work on the Wrecking Crew article and, of course, the on-going project on the garage rock page, which is the best music genre-related page on Wikipedia! TheGracefulSlick (talk) 19:20, 15 August 2016 (UTC)

Wow! Thank you. This is extra-special, in that it is coming from a great editor such as you. By the way, I'm enjoying reading the article you expanded about the Monks--just as I have enjoyed all of the other pieces you've done so much to improve such as L.A. Woman, the Music Machine, Country Joe, and so many others. The Monks' article is very informative--from reading it I'm learning a lot about the Monks' history as Americans living in Germany during the Cold War. Garagepunk66 (talk) 01:21, 16 August 2016 (UTC)

I second that emotion ! Smokey Robinson
Thanks!
P.S. Added thanks for the format changes to the sources at the Monks article. It is much more organized, I need to remember to list book references that way from now on.TheGracefulSlick (talk) 02:47, 16 August 2016 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
Thank you for the Romancers article. I recently began using this site and I am not good at web things. I am sorry for my mistakes in posting. The info I posted is all true and I wanted to provide as much detail as I could. Some of this info has not been reported on and that gives you the scoop on this information. I was not trying to prove a point. Max Uballez is the main source and you may contact him at xelaco@aol.com to confirm the information. Again thank you for your understanding. LincolnTiger (talk) 16:02, 10 June 2017 (UTC)
¡Gracias, señor! Garagepunk66 (talk) 19:56, 10 June 2017 (UTC)

Happy New Year 2016!
Did you know ... that back in 1885, Wikipedia editors wrote Good Articles with axes, hammers and chisels?

Thank you for your contributions to this encyclopedia using 21st century technology. I hope you don't get any unneccessary blisters.

Oh, thank you--delicious! Here in New Orleans we love to get a Doberge cake from Gambinos's Bakery for our birthdays. I have a feeling that it is our local version of the dobos. So, I'm gonna sink my teeth in right now and take a big bite! Thanks. Garagepunk66 (talk) 03:35, 11 April 2016 (UTC)

July songs
my story today

On today's Main page, you can find a cantata that Bach first performed 300 years ago, and an iconic saxophonist from East Germany. - You rock! Thank you for the QAI user box, and for being part of it! - DYK: it changed, and some changes were good. The nomination is now transcluded to the article talk, where you can see where it stands, and you can comment from there, regardless of which page holds it, approved or not yet approved. When it is closed it's moved to a prep area and will go to a queue from there. Overview for what's coming up: WP:DYK/Q - Enjoy! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:55, 18 July 2023 (UTC)

Thank you for you kind July Greeting and update with the DYK. GloryRoad66 (talk) 20:08, 18 July 2023 (UTC)
