Guo Qilin (郭麒麟) (February 6, 1996—), given name Guo Qilin (郭奇林), english name Kevin Guo. Birthplace in Tianjin, a performer of Chinese xiangsheng.

Guo Qilin is the eldest son of xiangsheng performance artist Guo Degang, apprenticing under Yu Qian from 2009 onwards to study the artform. He started his xiangsheng career after quitting school in June of 2011. He is also fluent in english.

Biography

Guo Qilin is born in Tianjin, biologically related to his father Guo Degang, and his mother, Guo Degang's ex-wife Hu Zhonghui. Hu Zhonghui used to be an amuteur actress, and was acquainted with Guo Degang while studying in a xiangsheng class at the Tianjin Hongqiao cultural center. They declared marriage after only half a year into their relationship. His parents divorced when Guo Qilin was four years old, and because Guo Degang had to tour for his performances, Guo Qilin was instead raised by his grandparents. ^[2]

In 2009, Guo Qilin officially started learning xiangsheng, apprenticing under Yu Qian, the stage partner of Guo Degang. ^{[citation needed]}
In 2011, after quitting school, he joined his father's founding organization—— Deyunshe, becoming a professional xiangsheng actor.
