France Truc, also stylized as France TRUC, is a French children's television programming block broadcast on France 3 from August 30, 2004 to June 30, 2006. It replaces T O 3 before being replaced by Toowam and intended mainly for 6 to 11 year olds.
Presentation[edit]
Similar to its predecessor, T O 3, the characters were based on computer graphics.[1]
In an animation studio, Normaal Animation created graphics for the show:
- Truque: A pink and white limbless figure on the outside and a green screen on the inside. She is a unique person by her humor, intelligence and creativity.
- Truc: A two-armed blue halftone with spiky hair. He is resourceful and reckless, which makes him the leader of the group.
- Truk: A red and yellow-orange, three-legged one-eyed screen with two mouth speakers. A walkable robotic dog-like with Truc and Truque. In the group, it is the fantastic beast.
Branding[edit]
The branding, however, is a stark contrast to the old. Abandoning the realistic but not very dynamic 3D effect, "France TRUC" creates a flatter but less static visual. With a few acid colors, the split screen, tight close-ups, rhythm, and speed are privileged. "It's a pop aesthetic inherited from manga, and Japanese comics", explains a designer, who adds: "In another style, "The Powerpuff Girls" already drew on the same inspiration.

Toowam was a French children's television programming block for children, broadcast from 1 July 2006 to 18 December 2009 on France 3. It replaces from France Truc and was aimed primarily at children aged 6 to 11.
Branding[edit]
Toowam's idents consisted of a blue background (to remind the channel) with clouds and the three-dimensional Toowam logo.
In its early days, the show began and ended with an animated credits in the clouds where the heroes of the various cartoons broadcast in Toowam appeared.
The broadcast is regularly punctuated by the appearance of the Toowam logo with a variation on the color of the logo's letters and music.

Ludo is the France Télévisions children's brand accompanying the animated series on France 3, France 4 and France 5 from 2009 to 2019.
It takes over from KD2A (2001–2009) from France 2, Toowam (2006–2009) from France 3, and Les Zouzous (1999–2009) from France 5.
Declination[edit]
The version of Ludo on France 3 resembles its predecessor Toowam with:
- Chouette Toowam, now Samedi Ludo;
- Ciné Toowam, now Ciné Ludo;
- Toowam Vacances, now Ludo Vacances.
Ciné Ludo is an extension of Ludo. It is mainly made up of cinema films and television films for children such as: Azur and Asmar or Kirikou and the Sorceress. Until 2011, Ciné Ludo was broadcast on France 3 and France 4 all year round, but mainly on Wednesdays morning, on public holidays and during vacations.
As for France 5, Ciné Ludo broadcast only during the 2009 and 2010 Christmas holidays, it replaced Ludo on France 5 from Monday to Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 1:40 p.m. Ciné Ludo on France 5 was like a “Christmas present”. From 2011, Ciné Ludo is broadcast only on France 3.

M6 Kid is a French children's television programming block, broadcast on M6 since August 31, 1992.

After abandoning its youth program Graffi'6, launched in 1987, M6 running back after La Cinq filed for bankruptcy. M6 Kid started at the instigation of Xavier Couture, himself responsible for La Cinq's children's programs from 1991 to 1992, and the show's first original cartoons were co-productions initiated by La Cinq. Thus are distributed: Bucky O'Hare, Little Shop, Barnyard Commandos, and Little Dracula. Only Bucky O'Hare had been partially broadcast during La Cinq. The program also broadcasts Japanese or American cartoons from Berlusconi's catalog, which would have been broadcast on La Cinq if the channel had survived: Graine de Champion, Cascadogs, Prostars, or Hammerman (the latter two being co-produced by DiC, Reteitalia, and Telecinco).
Initially, in 1992, the program was broadcast on Wednesday[2] and Saturday mornings,[3] and daily during school holidays, during the first year.[4] As for the Kidiniou puppet, it is abandoned after only one season.
Then, from September 1993, the Wednesday program was broadcast in the afternoon,[5] in direct competition with Le Club Dorothée. The show is interspersed with numerous sections.
In 2000, the program Kid et Compagnie took the place of the daily program Les bédés de M6 Kid, which broadcast series from comic strips.

During the 2000s, the show helped popularizing with Yu-Gi-Oh! and Cardcaptor Sakura.
The second half of the 2000s marked profound changes within the show. First, the implementation of a new look in 2006, the gradual abandonment of sections (with the exception of Kid et toi) and animators in 2008. A voice-over will then take over. This same year, the emission passes in daily as at the beginnings, becoming a cartoon block.
Little by little, the show abandoned its weekly slots. In March 2011, the Sunday morning section disappeared,[6] including the Saturday section no longer appears in 2014.

Check Eins is the German children's programming block of the ARD in the first. It is broadcast on Saturday and Sunday mornings and on national holidays.
Background[edit]
Since 2007, the children's program has been edited by Hessischer Rundfunk. This is where trailers, making-ofs, announcers and program supplements are planned, produced and included in the broadcast schedule (detailed broadcast schedule). Previously, the editorial responsibility lay with Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (until 2003 asOstdeutscher Rundfunk Brandenburg).
The program planning is done by Westdeutscher Rundfunk Köln. The broadcasts are delivered by the individual ARD state broadcasting corporations.
Broadcasting[edit]
It is usually broadcast on Saturdays from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and on Sundays from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. respectively. The children's program is also broadcast on public holidays throughout Germany, but with different broadcasting times.
