The 2020 Championnat AXA Alpine was the first season of the fictional Association for Worldwide Motorsports' (AWM) Championnat AXA Alpine . The four-event season was scheduled to begin on July 24th, 2020 at Circuit Paul Ricard and finish at the Circuit de la Sarthe on August 1st, 2020.
The series was open to Le Mans Prototypes in the LMP class, grand tourer -style racing cars in the GT class, and production cars in the Production class.
Calendar [ edit ]
The calendar for the inaugural 2020 season was announced on July 20th, 2020 with a length of four races.
Entries [ edit ]
In accordance with the 2017 LMP2 regulations, all cars in the LMP2 class use the Gibson GK428 V8 engine .[1]
All cars in the GT class are built to GT4 regulations and utilize Michelin tires. All cars utilize a 1.8L TCe M5P turbocharged I4 .
