Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:56, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Jonathan, regarding the removal of my external link on the Pleasantville movie page. The link I do think is appropriate as the page in question contained an encyclopedic breakdown of key movie scenes and analyzes the philosophy of each scene from a religious worldview. I hope you will reconsider the value of this information to making the Wiki pages more comprehensive in their coverage. Thanks 99.44.36.186 (talk) 02:52, 20 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, it's not that the external link was appropriate in content, but its addition to multiple articles seemed to be WP:LINKSPAM. Admittedly, I only gave the linked site a cursory inspection, but it appears to be some sort of personal blog, and as per WP:LINKSTOAVOID #12, would not be eligible for inclusion. If you believe the author of the page is indeed a recognized authority on religious critiques of films or versions of the Bible, please feel free to find WP:RELIABLESOURCES to back that up. Thanks. Disambiguation link notification for September 14

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mikhail Alekseyev, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Don River (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Douglas Tait (stuntman) RfC

As you have reinserted the text from the Douglas Tait (stuntman) article under discussion, you might care to weigh-in here on this RfC. Novaseminary (talk) 03:03, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Any chance you would weigh-in at this ANI? Thanks. Novaseminary (talk) 19:37, 14 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Violating NPOV and vandalism re Miss Ethiopia

Can you please take a look at the Miss Ethiopia entry? the editor Habeshakonjo is obviously deliberately violating NPOV he has re written the entire article from scratch deleting original sourced and verifiable information, and cites no sources for his new version and claims in his new entry and it replaced it so it reads like an advert for his company, he is directly related to EAVPG he keeps reverting the wiki entry to suit his self promoting version, can the page be 3O'd sorted out and locked? there are multiple national pageant organisers and various franchise holders in Ethiopia who each do their own pageant, but he deletes all references to them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.28.33.235 (talk) 02:50, 11 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Some bubble tea for you!

Sock puppet

Sock puppet for blocked users User:Frost778, 75.51.172.205 and 75.51.171.188 has returned with 75.51.164.49 and continues (see the edits on Satrapy of Armenia, Orontid Dynasty, Artaxiad Dynasty, etc. Kentronhayastan (talk) 06:14, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why don't we just semi-protect the pages to prevent edits by non-users? Kentronhayastan (talk) 06:45, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure how that whole thing works, I'm not an admin, but I think there are so many pages that the template is added to that it might be a huge hassle for whichever admin is unfortunate enough to have to deal with him. Hopefully someone with experience with rangeblocks will be able to assist with the problem soon. I'm going to stop wasting my time undoing his nonsense, hopefully it will get resolved soon. Hell J. Please be aware that the recent EW report that you filed against The Old Jacobite concerns longtime and prolific sock Pé de Chinelo (talk · contribs). This editor has been blocked and banned so TOJ had every right to revert any and all edits by the IP. Since it looks like you work to protect wikipedia from socks please take a look at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Pé de Chinelo/Archive and Wikipedia:WikiProject_Film/Vandalism_by_201.19.*.* to get some idea of the damage done by this person and how long it has gone on. In the future please feel free to revert any new IP's that come along and to report them to AIV ASAP to prevent their disruption in the future. MarnetteD | Talk 17:09, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, I see. I was unfortunately unaware of the complete situation. Going to withdraw my report. Jonathanfu (talk) 17:19, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for taking the time to withdraw the EW report and to let TOJ know that you had done so. Cheers and happy editing. MarnetteD | Talk 17:24, 13 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Your rollback request

Hi Jonathanfu, I have granted rollback rights to your account in accordance with your request. Please be aware that rollback should be used to revert vandalism/spam/blatantly unconstructive edits, and that using it to revert any other type of edit - such as by revert-warring or reverting edits you disagree with - can lead to it being removed from your account...sometimes without any warning depending on the admin who becomes aware of any misuse. If you think an edit should require a reason for reverting, use a manual edit summary instead of using the rollback tool. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 18:12, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Dispute resolution volunteer survey

Dispute Resolution – Volunteer Survey Invite

Hello Cannolis. To follow up on the first survey in April, I am conducting a second survey to learn more about dispute resolution volunteers - their motivations for resolving disputes, the experiences they've had, and their ideas for the future. I would appreciate your thoughts. I hope that with the results of this survey, we will learn how to increase the amount of active, engaged volunteers, and further improve dispute resolution processes. The survey takes around five to ten minutes, and the information you provide will not be shared with third parties other than to assist in analyzing the results of the survey. No personally identifiable information will be released.

Please click HERE to participate.
Many thanks in advance for your comments and thoughts.

You are receiving this invitation because you have either listed yourself as a volunteer at a dispute resolution forum, or are a member of a dispute resolution committee. For more information, please see the page that describes my fellowship work which can be found here. Szhang (WMF) (talk) 02:46, 29 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for December 9

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help.
