== Hi ==

You know what is going on in the Nair page right? If some editors are having conflict among themselves in the Nadar page, why taking it to the Nair page? And I am surprised because the editor Linguist Geek is a Bunt, not a Nair. Looking at your edit history, it is unfortunate that an established user like you is behaving with such bias. Tamil tag for 'isaignani'

Hi. I do not know why no one letting and promoting true and correct facts. Whats wrong in quoting Tamil and English for 'Isaignani'. Please let us make that article look more informative or you guys update in fullest way possible. Illayaraaja article is totally incomplete with no facts. A guy who doesn't know him cannot read all the informations since nothing is there. Either you guys update it or please please for god sake let someone adding more news with clear reference and legetimate statements there. For example he is the first Asian and the only Indian to have scored a symphony for Royal Philharmonic Orchestra both in London and Budapest. And he is considered as one of Indias most respected and talented musician with no doubts. Why these facts missing there.

Try to get facts and update all these missing and really important facts. Atleast let someone who take care in adding these missing all important facts. My goal is to make the article more informative and please dont reply saying wiki has rules against this.

Then why this is to be there in wiki.

Have you guys updated it with these missing contents which is stated as a Good article. Its easy to say its not proper and to undo it.

Ok atleast you guys try to add more more content into it which is all missing there. Please Please do understand.

Surat reply

I reverted your edit as the reference restored by me was this but not this. The IBN ref regarding Surat is clean city is a valid one and thus I restored it. And I did not understand what you meant by And the ref was never deleted, only incorrect uses of it were removed. Thank You. --WorLD8115 (TalK) 12:13, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think we both erred on this one, I didn't notice the above reference and you didn't notice all the other text referenced to soemthing that didn't have any mention of it. I'll remove that. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 04:49, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

abuse

hi,some pov pushers in the Nadar (caste) article have taken to abusing using anon ips on my user page.they have also reverted my disputed tag on the article Nadar (caste) which seems pretty legitmate to me after reading the talk page of the article.just have a look if some sock puppetry is going on .LinguisticGeek 18:06, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm off-wiki for a few days and can't take a deeper look, take to WP:ANI if needed or contact another admin. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 04:49, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
User:Lindam90 is threatening others on the Nadars talk page (see 16h25, 15 sept). Please warn him.Rajkris (talk) 09:08, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

well can you please look after the abuse on the nadar talk page.my user page has already been vandalized once.thank you.LinguisticGeek 16:21, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, you've got to disengage a bit too. The offending editor was blocked and you should step back and just engage in some discussion on the talk page instead. I can't protect that page as I'm involved, so if it needs protection go to WP:RFPP. I won't be available online for a few days, except for a brief visit or two, so I can't involve myself much now. Your user page has been semi protected for a week. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 16:40, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism in article Raju Narayana Swamy

Hi, please look at the recent edits made to the article. User:Irany removed the maintenance templates without making any sufficient changes to the article. You had earlier blocked him for doing the same. Thanks. Finemann (talk) 13:37, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like he might need blocking again, I reverted him and left him a template and he has just reverted again, he is just not listening. The article is also awful and I almost stubbed it back. Off2riorob (talk) 15:01, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'll handle this now, but feel free to edit the article. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 04:49, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have rewritten the whole article and removed the maintenance tags. Please do see it. Finemann (talk) 16:29, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't taken a look at the refs individually, but they look reliable and the content appears good and sources, so good job. I think rob's got it on his watchlist now, so he'll probably take a look whenever there's any trouble. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 17:40, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I saw the very good work to improve that article, impressive indeed. I have it on my watchlist and will keep my eye on it, but I think the IP will be happy with the improvements. Off2riorob (talk) 17:44, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Coramandel23

Remember him? The guy who was sockpuppeteering at Christianity in India. He got a rename for privacy reasons, that's why his name is different. Seems like he's moving into some of the areas you're editing. I recently blocked Jgittins (talk · contribs) as a sock of his which seems like a continuation of Geofisherguy (talk · contribs), a CU confirmed sock. Elockid (Alternate) (Talk) 16:14, 15 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Didn't realize he was back on here, I saw the Geo user name, but that was only because I was reverting something on that article. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 04:49, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, seems pretty awful. —SpacemanSpiff 04:49, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ila kumar

I don't know why you requested to delete this page. If there are any Indian writers - why shouldn't they be present on Wiki? You cannot delete anything without knowing the origin. Ila Kumar's books are sold in India and I am not sure how aware you are of Hindi Literature. And the awards are not documented online. She is also a part of Sahitya Academy in india (http://sahitya-akademi.gov.in/sahitya-akademi/literaray-activities/mulakat.jsp) and her poems are in Kavita Kosh as well. And one last thing - you should have gone through various links given at the end of the article to validate your suspicions if someone is adding article just for the heck of it.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Sneha.kumar (talkcontribs) 19:34, 16 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't delte the article, it was deleted after an AfD discussion. You can contact Cirt (talk · contribs) the deleting admin if you have any questions or if you have new sources that might show notability. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 16:20, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi SpacemanSpiff, this article was tagged by an admin. named decltype with {{Disputed}}. A user named Atwozee was quick to revert this, was tagged again, reverted again, he got warning, but he didn't care, he was banned by you for three days, now he is back and removed the tag again, he is also put back the section deleted by decltype. I have put the tag back again and removed the section from there. But, please can you tell him that he should not remove this tag and start dealing the article as his private property, until the authenticity of the article is not decided.RegardsJogibaba (talk) 10:49, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I don't have time to handle this now, suggest you contact Decltype for now. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 16:20, 17 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have to report AyanP (talk · contribs) for his incivil manner and edit warring on Katrina Kaif. He reverted me with an edit summary which was incivil. I warned him not start an edit war and not use inappropriate language. On the article, I cited a source for the claim that she is a British Indian. His reply was very rude. He said "I will start an edit war if you make improper edits" and again attacked me personally. I warned him once again, his reply was again very rude and he now seems to be reverting me continuously despite the sources and despite being warned. ShahidTalk2me 08:29, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I don't have the time to look at any new disputes currently. Please ask YM / Utcursch or another admin active in this space. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 15:38, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

question

Isnt Ragi mudde same as Kezhvaragu Kazhi. --CarTick 17:49, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, but I don't think it's the "correct" name (it's a colloquial name I think). Please don't remind me of that dish! —SpacemanSpiff 17:53, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
i know. :) what would be the correct namre? --CarTick 18:03, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ragi kazhi (sp?)? Popular around Coimbatore/Erode area I think, but it's a little different from the Karnataka variety in that this almost never has rice in it, if I'm correct. —SpacemanSpiff 18:11, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I know people call it Kezhvaragu kazhi in Northern TN. well, is not a big deal. thanks. --CarTick 18:17, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mayoori (actress)

Hello, I added back only the Malayalam films in which MAyoori acted. I didn't add the Hindi movies which should be credited to Mayuri Kango. As you suggested, the alternate spelling "Mayuri" can be kept, even though I never seen that spelling used to describe her in any of the Malayalm or Tamil films she acted. I think it is OK to add the Malayalam movies in which she acted. This information is quite known to me since I watched all these Malayalam movies. Anishviswa (talk) 17:49, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you have sources for the movies, feel free to add them in. But don't change the primary spelling, all reliable sources say "Mayuri", not "Mayoori". cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 17:54, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

hello !

I graduated from K K wagh college. So i know its name better than you. Why did you change it back to K K wagh college of engineering on the nashik page of wikipedia? Even the K. K. Wagh College of Engineering needs updation. Verifiable source : Official website of college : http://www.kkwagh.org/

Even the changes you cancelled on sachin tendulkar's page are illogical. Please use the correct information and be a good administrator. If people like you start behaving and commenting in nonsense manner, then wikipedia would become bane to humanity. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Amolkots (talkcontribs) 20:04, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

First point, I have no idea what you're talking about. Second one, know that Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not the Sena mouthpiece. —SpacemanSpiff 05:46, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Mayuri Kango" photo

Someone should probably save that image to their hard drive, delete that one, and then upload it with the proper name. Otherwise, people are going to keep getting confused about it. SilverserenC 06:01, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I don't work with images except copyvios, so I'll let someone else deal with this. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 09:49, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Indian law stubs

Hi When we use India-law-stub the page is placed in Asian law stubs category.I think there are substantial number of articles now and therefore such articles should have there own category of indian-law stubs. Please look into. Thanks Shyamsunder (talk) 21:03, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You'll need to start a discussion for splitting it off at WP:STUB; I think the minimum to have a category is 65, but for slightly less nos, they'll let you have one if you can show that it'll grow to that. cheers. —SpacemanSpiff 09:54, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
