[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Ashcroft, British Columbia, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Deor (talk) 09:26, 25 May 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Atacama Desert. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. If you would like to contribute to Wikipedia articles on climate-related topics, about which you seem knowledgeable, that's wonderful, but you need to provide reliable sources for your additions. Consider taking the Introduction to referencing tutorial if you are unfamiliar with Wikipedia's citation system. Rublov (talk) 03:51, 4 December 2020 (UTC)

Kamloops
[edit]You have a good eye. Ive really not kept up with the climate data project lately but i'll still say that while you make good points, it's possible that the highest recorded humidex was recorded on a day that was extremely humid, but not particularly hot. In other words, not typical weather for that region. And you can actually verify this through the same Environment Canada website that provides the rest of our data. —Soap— 23:54, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
Also, this may sound odd, but you dont need to be super-polite in edit summaries and it may actually come off as sarcastic even if you mean it sincerely. I would just make your point and let it stand on its own ... no need to apologize for having an opinion. Thankyou for this! Just being "polite." Hah! Actually, Ashcroft is drier than even Kamloops, with -consistently- lower summer dewpoints than Kamloops. Unfortunately Ashcroft doesn't record DP or RH stats anymore for some reason. Cheers. —Soap— 23:56, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
Talk pages
[edit]I noticed you added a comment to Talk:Atacama Desert. However, you placed your comment in the edit summary rather than in the body of the talk page, which makes it unlikely that other editors will see it or respond to it. You may wish to edit again with the contents of your comment in the body of the talk page, just as you recently did on your own talk page, so that your comment has more visibility. Make sure to sign your comments by adding four tildes (~~~~) at the end, and please refer to the talk page guidelines for further information. Rublov (talk) 16:42, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

April 2021 - Second warning disruptive editing in the same article
[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Atacama Desert, you may be blocked from editing. SFBB (talk) 00:24, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
