ACS[edit]

You're putting up the same link as a reference for each of the articles where you're adding ancestry data, which means you're not linking to the actual data. The correct way to link data from American Factfinder is to go to the "Bookmark/Save" link above the table you're displaying, then copy the entire URL that appears; the link will end with a multi-digit series of numerals and letters corresponding to the FIPS code of the unit of geography. Take a look at the structure of my reference that I've put in the article; yours should have the same format. Best wishes, --Ken Gallager (talk) 02:15, 4 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou so much, sorry for the error.174.70.83.194 (talk) 02:38, 4 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

don't use flags for ancestries, don't put American in scare-quotes. 174.19.187.143 (talk) 05:12, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

April 2017[edit]

Hello, I'm XboxGamer22408. I noticed that in this edit to Ahmed Sékou Touré, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. XboxGamer22408talk to me 23:11, 27 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia requires proper attribution[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Adams County, Wisconsin to Lee County, Illinois (your addition has since been removed). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. If you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 18:54, 9 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your latest edit to Collier County, Florida was problematic, and has been reverted. You deleted part of the listing by races in the Demographics section, and the citation you provided for national origins was simply for the home page of the census, and provided no information in support of the information in the article. - Donald Albury 21:33, 26 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
