Information icon Hi 2K LMG! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at List of highest-grossing film directors that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Hello, I noticed the recent draft popped up on . I have created several pages under this category and I recommend you to definitely publish it; the more of these we build up, the better. The article is missing some projects though; Sweeney Todd, The Kite Runner, The Lookout, and Oz the Great and Powerful. ZanderAlbatraz1145 (talk) 15:24, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries

[edit]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! – Daℤyzzos (✉️ • 📤) 12:56, 23 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

More 'Unrealized projects' pages

[edit]

Hello, I have information and sources regarding possible 'Unrealized projects' draft pages for Joe Carnahan, John Waters, Brett Ratner, and several others, but I believe pages are necessary on those three, considering the amount of refs. I wanted to ask if you'd like to collaborate with me on making possible article drafts for them; I just need help adequately summarizing the key points for the projects and in creating the pages themselves, which would move move a lot faster and with productivity if I had another user to help me make them. (I must add that I have the ref links set aside on my sandbox page where I have already compiled a catalogue of the project titles, but they have yet to be written out, organized, and properly formated) Thank you. Draft:Shawn Levy's unrealized projects

[edit]

Hey, buddy, (-whistle call sound-), new information has been added to Draft:Shawn Levy's unrealized projects. It is currently awaiting publication and if you want a larger chance of it being accepted and moved to the main space, there's some touching up that needs to be done. If you don't care what happens with it then, boy, sure seems like a lot of wasted effort on your part. I was happy to add additional sources and references to it, to make it more viable. You're welcome. If you bother seeing or reading this, take a look at my last message, which can be read directly above this one. Thanks for your time. Cheers. ZanderAlbatraz1145 (talk) 19:05, 28 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the message. Will begin touching up immediately. 2K LMG (talk) 11:53, 29 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Bravo! Bravo! Now that's an article! Hey, listen, I have information for a potential 'John Ford's unrealized projects' article, how you feel if I handed you over the information and you created a page for it, wrote out the information, etc. If you don't like the idea of a Ford page, I also have potential ones I've planned on Roman Polanski, Christopher McQuarrie, Brett Ratner, Joe Carnahan, Mark Rydell, George Cukor, Frank Lloyd Wright, Michelangelo, I mean, help yourself visit my sandbox and take your pick, fuck it. I would like your help with them and have an abundance of information regarding all. Thank you for your time. ZanderAlbatraz1145 (talk) 02:20, 30 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I could start working on pages for Carnahan and McQuarrie this weekend. At the moment I just created a draft page for Matt Reeves' unrealized projects and will be spending today and tomorrow mostly expanding that. 2K LMG (talk) 18:07, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds great! Let me know which ones you choose, if you decide to do both, or if you have an interest in doing any on not just contemporary filmmakers. There seems to be an abundance of those, enough as it is. It's becoming more and more necessary to expand into other territories for the Category; old Hollywood directors, foreign directors, and the other arts as well — architecture, literature. That's why I'd like to get one going on Frank Lloyd Wright for the time being. If that gets on well, I propose ones on Le Corbusier and Michelangelo. Unrealized projects are not limited just to film directors. They could be from anyone! ZanderAlbatraz1145 (talk) 03:44, 2 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Carnahan or McQuarrie or Other ?

[edit]

Have you decided which page you'd like to begin work on a draft for this weekend? Christopher McQuarrie's unrealized projects, Joe Carnahan's unrealized projects, or another like Roman Polanski or Brett Ratner or John Ford. I already have the John Ford one all listed out and everything, with dates and titles, so that might be the most logical place to start. Keep me posted, so I can supply the titles and sources. Thanks. ZanderAlbatraz1145 (talk) 23:14, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

P. S., Ratner may make the most sense of all three to do a page on since he has the most projects to go unrealized out of the ones we've discussed. ZanderAlbatraz1145 (talk) 23:15, 3 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

TIME'S UP!

[edit]

Times up, 2K LMG! Still at work on the Reeves page? Either way, the weekend is up, it's about to be Tuesday. Have we gotten started on one of the page collaboration propositions I proposed to you? Or have you picked out which one you would like to start on with me at least? Get back to me when you can. Thanks for the time, as always. ZanderAlbatraz1145 (talk) 00:24, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Have started working on a McQuarrie page. Not much work done yet on it. 2K LMG (talk) 01:03, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have a lot of stuff to give you. Not sure how to pass it over. For now, I'm just going to paste all the project titles I accumulated in order — and then their links/sources unformatted in random order below it. ZanderAlbatraz1145 (talk) 03:27, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Disregard this last message. I did more than I should have to the article, but I made it easier. Thanks. ZanderAlbatraz1145 (talk) 04:14, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
