Copyright violation on Ottawa Titans article

[edit]

Your recent edits to the Ottawa Titans article included copyrighted content from https://www.ottawatitans.com/history . As described at Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright § Can I add something to Wikipedia that I got from somewhere else?, copyrighted content can only be included on Wikipedia if the copyright holder has made it available under a license compatible with Wikipedia. (On a separate note, the text was written in a promotional style that was inappropriate for an encyclopedia article.) Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources has more information on how to include information from other sources in a Wikipedia article. isaacl (talk) 04:00, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Discospinster. I noticed that in this edit to Joji (musician), you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ... discospinster talk 00:48, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
