DO NOT COPY

[edit]

"DO NOT COPY" is a basic concept in academia. The content you added at multiple articles, including at Arjun Sarja and Sathyaraj was clearly copied from other sources. This is unacceptable and shameful. Copying is intellectually dishonest and lazy, and constitutes intellectual theft. Plagiarism and copyright violations will not be tolerated at Wikipedia, and since I'm not going to be bothered to comb through your edits looking for theft, I have reverted the bulk of your recent submissions. Don't cut corners.

Additionally, a few other things: You need to QUICKLY learn what is or isn't a quality reference. Read WP:RS. Stuff like this where you apparently think that any website you can find, like hdisaimini.com, whatever that is, or here where you think studioflicks.com is good enough, are totally insufficient. Anybody can start a website. We don't care what random websites or blogs or portals or content scrapers have to say. We only care what reliable published sources with established reputations for fact-checking and accuracy have to say. And, we're not interested in your evaluations of a film's critical or commercial success. If you want to say that a film received mixed reviews, then you have to prove that by including a reference that says "the film received mixed reviews". And no, this does not mean you can go find a few mixed reviews and summarise that selection. You are not a critical response aggregator. And if you can't figure out on your own what a quality reference is, stick to the approved ones you find at WP:ICTFSOURCES.

And here, I can't even begin to understand why you deleted references from the award section. How does it help us to have a totally unsourced award section? If the awards can't be verified, then they are at risk of being deleted. Exercise better judgment moving forward, please and DO NOT COPY ANYMORE. If you do it again, your editing privileges will be interrupted. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:47, 3 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive changes

[edit]

The net result of these changes does not appear to be an improvement, rather it seems to take the article back. You inexplicably removed referenced names, created a malformed URL in the |birth_date= field, deleted archives, deleted the Personal life section, etc. How was this an improvement? A moot point here, you need to seek consensus via discussion at Talk:Vadivelu and if you continue to make disruptive edits like this, your privileges are likely to be interrupted.
