Varieties of English[edit]

Hi, I've reverted a few of your edits because you seem to be assuming American English ("movie" for "film") where British English is in use. Please be aware that there are many small differences of style between the language varieties; some of these may appear affected or old-fashioned to you, but that is to be expected. It is not a matter for "correction". I do hope this is clear; it is Wikipedia policy to permit different articles to use different language variants, and in particular, articles like English country house may clearly belong to one variant. No attempt should be made to change the language variant used in an article without full discussion and consensus on the article's talk page.
