Request reason:

my page is an English verison of the hunagrian Dunai Regatta wikipeida page The Danube Regatta (talk) 09:40, 4 January 2017 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Your username is still not allowed, and just removing "The" and a space from it won't change that. Try a name that does not include "Danube" or "Regatta". Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:37, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

{{unblock|reason= We translated an existing Wikipedia page: https://hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunai_Regatta and the English name is The Daube Regatta, so we would like to have this name as a username}} As you know, that would be unacceptable. Additionally, if you translated an existing Wikipedia page, you must (and I say again, must) adhere to the license of the source material. Otherwise, it's a copyright violation. --Yamla (talk) 12:54, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

December 2016[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Thank you. -- Ed (Edgar181) 15:31, 19 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

You have continued with your copyright violations. As such, I have blocked you to give you a chance to read and understand WP:COPYRIGHT. Any admin is welcome to unblock you once they are sure you have a thorough understanding of our copyright policy, and understand what you did wrong. --Yamla (talk) 11:34, 5 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I also believe that, taken in context, their username is still a problem as it seems to reference the Antall József Knowledge Centre, as was ponted out in this UAA report. It also seems clear that there is an undisclosed conflict of interest implied by both the old and new usernames. I'd like to see all these points addressed in any request for unblocking. I've already read it.[edit]

Hello, I've already read it. Someone else made this problem, I've got this editor work with this problem. I would like to resolve it. I work at the knowledge center (AJTK). I read all notices some times, and if I understand well I have to change the username. But I cant do this. What else can I do? Im a beginner, I don't know well wikipedia.

Are you saying this is a shared account? That's not permitted. Additionally, you say "I've already read it". In order to be unblocked, you'll need to convince us (1) only you, not anyone else, has access to this account, (2) you understand WP:COPYRIGHT and understand and can explain why your edits on January 5th were inappropriate, and why you made those edits after previously being warned about copyright, (3) you understand WP:COI and WP:PROMO, and agree not to violate these, and specifically what sorts of edits you will not make as a result. And of course, your username is still inappropriate, but that's the least of the concerns here. --Yamla (talk) 15:38, 24 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
